  We are glad you have visited our website. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously when collecting, processing and using your personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions. On this page, we have provided you with a summary of how we would like to handle your data and your privacy.
1. What is personal data?
  Personal data as defined by the Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG) is specific information about personal and factual circumstances concerning an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes name, address, date of birth, profession and bank details as well as data such as your blood type or medical results. All of this data is subject to particular protection under the BDSG and other data privacy regulations, which we guarantee through technical and organizational measures.

b) Server log files and data recorded within such files

The web server automatically creates log files to provide us with a statistic overview of how visitors interact with our website. These log files are only accessible to the webmaster and they are not linked with other data at any point in time.
This access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, quantity of transmitted data, report of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited website), IP address and the provider sending the request.
We use the log data without attributing it to the identity of the user or other profiling, only for statistical analysis for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of services. However, we reserve the right to subsequently review the log data if there is are concrete indications which give rise to legitimate suspicion of unlawful use.
3. Processing and use of personal data

  • When you contact us, the information (contact form data may be converted into an email) will be saved for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case subsequent questions arise. The purpose is derived from each respective inquiry.
  • We will forward the data to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations (e.g. carrying out bank transactions, sending invoices by mail).
 
4. Cookies
  Cookies are short text files containing information transferred from our web servers or third-party web servers to the user’s browser and which can be saved on your PC. They can also be accessed the next time you visit. Primarily, they are used to personalize the visitor’s experience and to support dialogue. Cookies are used on this website in part to support dialogue; that is, the data you entered previously is also available to you when filling out other forms, so you are not required to enter your data twice. 5. Integration of services and forwarding of your personal data to third parties
  The transfer of your personal data is allowed where it is expressly referred to and where you have given us your consent.
Personal data is transferred via third-party content, such as web statistics, WireCard, shipping services, Amazon Web Services.
5.1 Web tracking with google analytics statistics
  We use Google Analytics, including the features of Universal Analytics, an open-source software for cross-device statistical analysis of user access. Google Analytics also uses cookies which are saved on the user’s computer and which enable analysis regarding use of our website. The information generated by the Google Analytics cookie about the use of our web services will be stored on our server in Germany.
The information generated by the cookie regarding the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, a tool called IP anonymization is activated on our website, meaning that your IP address will be truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transfer.
The IP address will be anonymized immediately after processing and before storage.
Users can deactivate the installation of cookies as already described using the corresponding system settings of their browser.
Through the opt-out procedure (right to objection) implemented on our website, you were informed before your visit to this website and had the opportunity of objecting to analysis.

5.2 Wirecard
  Certain payment processes, such as credit card payments made through our online shop, are handled by our payment service provider WireCard AG, Einsteinring 35, 85609 Aschheim (hereafter “WireCard”). In this process, we forward your payment data using a protected https connection to the server of WireCard. This transfer only occurs to ensure proper handling of your payment. Please observe WireCard’s privacy policy, which you can find at www.wirecard.de/datenschutz.
5.3 Amazon web services
  This website uses Amazon Cloudfront, a CDN (Content Delivery Network) of Amazon Inc. (“Amazon”). A CDN sends files from a very fast server situated as close to your location as possible. This reduces the loading time of the website, since very little data has to be directly loaded from our own server. Amazon operates countless servers worldwide in order to send our files to you as quickly as possible. It is technically possible that our browser (for instance because you are accessing this website from outside the EU or for some other reason) will access a server located outside the EU. In such cases, data such as your IP address will be sent from your browser directly to the respective country (North and South America, Asia, Australia) and stored there. In this case, you consent to the transfer of your data to the USA and/or the country in which the respective server is located.
6. Processing and use of personal data
  Your personal data will be stored on the provider’s protected computers and on our own computing systems. We will only process and use any personal data which we obtain concerning you through this website for the purposes specified.
7. Security of personal data
  The personal data that you provide to us on this website, for instance through online forms, is transferred over the internet from your PC to our computers using a secure encrypted connection (SSL) to protect your data against misuse by third parties. The persons working on our website have all committed to data privacy pursuant to Section 5 BDSG. Access to this data is protected by an authorization concept to ensure that only authorized employees are able to view this data.
8. General legal information
  We occasionally provide links to third-party websites. Although we select these third parties carefully, we cannot accept any liability or guarantees for the accuracy or completeness of content and the level of data security on third-party websites. This privacy policy does not apply for linked websites owned by third parties. If we introduce new products or services, change our internet procedures or if the internet and IT security technology further develops, this “Privacy Policy” must be updated. For this reason, we reserve the right to change or supplement this policy as needed. We will publish revisions on this page. Therefore, you should regularly access this website to stay informed about the current version of the privacy policy.

  In accordance with Section 34 BDSG, you have the right to obtain information about the data we store concerning you, as well as the right to correction of inaccurate data or the deletion/blocking of unlawfully stored data in accordance with Section 35 BDSG.
